Since you have been appying for the Elite-Members group, I'll quote what Tama-Neko wrote there.
If you'd like to know more about how elites are chosen then you may read this article Tama-Neko's article so that you may see how it is done, we can do nothing to make you an elite member and if you are not one you may not be a part of the group.
As EternalParadox states, being a regular member grants you with all the abilities to fully enjoy the comunity.

It's not about the same e-mail, which isn't even the same. The IP address and host is the same, and both have the name Almira Fabian. And if it actually was your friend and not you that was banned, she should contact one of the mods herself so the issue can be resolved in a civil manner instead of you resorting to such unsightly language, which by the way just earned you your first strike.

In my random browsings, I headed over to the Moderator Group page and noticed your comment. It seems that you have applied to the Moderators Group and that unicorn left you a comment, which must have been by private message. I assume that unicorn told you that you cannot become a moderator simply by applying to the group. That is true. 99.99% of members on Minitokyo will always be just regular members. Promotions are indeed very rare.
The reason I stopped by was to ask you to please not be angry. Perhaps unicorn used language that could have been construed to be mean, or at least less than kind, but I assure you that she did not have any ill feelings. While I do not know exactly what she wrote to you, but I guess from your reaction that her words were probably rather blunt about not applying to be a moderator. Please know that she is a nice person and that she did not mean to insult you. From my time working with her, she is a really nice person and I will vouch for that with my own credibility. So please, do not be angry or upset and know that we, the staff of Minitokyo, do respect all members and that everyone is a valuable part of our community, however new the member may be.
At any rate, I must leave to do my work. In the mean time, if you have any questions at all regarding the rules, policies, or how to navigate or participate in Minitokyo, please feel free to ask me. I will do my best to answer.

No you are not a member of the moderator group, nor are you a moderator. As I have mentioned before, very very rarely are members promoted to be moderators. In fact, it's for all intents and purposes never. The moderator group is a group for explicitly the 8-9 active moderators, not that we actually use it much anyways. But nonetheless, members cannot apply to the group nor will they be able to apply for a moderator position.
However, not being a moderator is not a bad thing at all. As a regular member, you have all the abilities needed to access all the user-end features of the site. So long as you observe the Policy and guidelines, you will be able to enjoy MT to its fullest.
